We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. We do not accept cash, check or money orders at this time.  Containers will not be delivered until we have a credit card on file.

The scope of your specific project will determine your dumpster size. We offer a wide range of sizes to accommodate projects both large and small.  Contact us for advice on choosing a dumpster for your specific needs.

When loading a dumpster, ensure all debris is placed inside the container as evenly as possible. Do not leave anything hanging over the sides or sticking through the top of the dumpster. This could delay your waste pick-up because drivers cannot haul overloaded dumpsters.
While you can toss most common items in a dumpster, a few restrictions apply. Usually this is because a certain item must be handled separately from other debris, using special processes and equipment, for environmental or safety reasons. This table shows items typically not allowed in a dumpster and where you should get rid of them instead.  Unsure about an item? Contact us.
Prohibited Item Reason It’s Not Allowed Where to Dispose Instead
Fuels, Oils, Batteries, Paints & Lacquers Flammable and/or toxic to the environment. Local household hazardous waste facility.
Asbestos & Medical Waste Harmful to human health. Asbestos abatement company or medical waste service.
Industrial Drums & Contaminated Absorbents Toxic to the environment. Local hazardous waste collection service.
Food Waste, Inks, Resins, Adhesives Can attract vermin or damage the inside of the dumpster. Household trash or local recycling facility.
Refrigerators, Air Conditioners & Hot Water Tanks Contain toxic chemicals or collect harmful gases in landfills. Take back programs at your utility company, scrap yards or refrigerant recovery services.

Standard dumpster rental period is 7 days. Depending on your location, availability and demand, rental periods can usually be extended for a low daily rate. Please also note that if you keep your dumpster longer than your specified rental period, you will be charged an extension fee for each additional day.

If your dumpster fills up before your project is complete, you can call our office to schedule an empty and return service.  You also have the option to order additional dumpsters if the scope of your project increases.

Dumpsters are automatically picked up after 7 days. Please provide 24-48 hours notice to change this.

Your dumpster will be brought to a recycling, processing and disposal company based on the nature of the load and/or your location. What is recycled is up to the disposal site. Many items are recycled, but it’s done by their team not ours.

Both dumpster bags and roll-off dumpsters have different benefits. The capacity of dumpster bags is much lower than the smallest roll-off dumpsters and if you find yourself needing to purchase several dumpster bags, the cost may end up exceeding that of a dumpster rental. However, dumpster bags may still be a reliable waste disposal solution for a smaller scale renovation or construction project.

There are many situations where your normal trash cans won’t cut it as waste management solutions. Certain household and construction projects will quickly build up more garbage than you know what to do with, and it can become an unsightly hazard on your property. In these situations, it’s best to rent a roll-off dumpster to handle your waste disposal needs.

Residential and commercial projects that may necessitate a residential dumpster rental include:

  • Decluttering – It’s truly amazing how much junk we can accumulate in our homes, especially in basements, attics and garages, without even realizing it. When it comes time to declutter your home, a small dumpster rental can make the project a lot easier to manage.
  • Moving – Many homeowners become aware of just how much stuff they don’t need when it comes time to move to a new home. Rather than leaving your garbage bins overflowing with stuffed trash bags, it might just be easier to rent a roll-off dumpster for everything you don’t need.
  • Roofing – Replacing your roof is a household project that always produces a lot of debris. Renting a roll-off dumpster will make it much easier to dispose of old roofing shingles, nails, and any other waste produced by the project.
  • Landscaping – Certain landscaping projects can produce a shocking amount of waste. If you’re planning on a big yard project that will involve disposing of broken pavers, mulch, sod or any other bulky debris, consider searching “roll-off dumpsters near me.”
  • Remodeling – If you’re planning on remodeling your home or office, get prepared by renting a heavy duty dumpster. Any extensive remodeling project will accumulate more waste than your standard garbage can or small dumpster can hold.
  • Construction – Every construction site needs heavy-duty waste management solutions in place. Construction dumpster rentals can be used to dispose of concrete, rebar, glass, wood, and any other building materials.

If you’re considering renting a roll-off dumpster to use as a waste management solution, you might be unclear about how that process will work. The dumpster rental process is usually pretty straightforward but, depending on where you need the dumpster and what you’ll be using it for, there may be additional steps you need to take.

Your first step should be to determine what size of garbage dumpster rental you’re going to need. Heavy duty dumpsters come in several sizes, including 6-yard, 10-yard, 20-yard and 30-yard. A small dumpster rental might cut it for a small-scale project such as remodeling a single room in your home or office, but more ambitious renovation, waste disposal and construction projects will likely require you to choose a larger dumpster.

Once you’ve picked your size, it’s time to find an affordable dumpster rental company. Consider reading reviews online and comparing price quotes to determine your best local option. Before scheduling the delivery of your roll-off dumpster, you may need to obtain a permit. If the dumpster will fit on private property, such as in your own driveway, you probably won’t need one. But if the dumpster is going in a public space like a city park or a street, you’ll likely need a permit. Keep in mind that permits can take several days or even over a week to obtain, so do this sooner rather than later.

Finally, you can schedule a dumpster delivery date with your dumpster rental company. Then, you can fill up your roll-off dumpster and contact the company to pick up the dumpster and dispose of the waste. Do you need to rent a roll-off dumpster in the Twin Cities area?
